Any abstract submitted under IASO Fellowship awards category which is not selected for IASO Fellowship awards will be considered for IASO NATCON Golden Jubilee 2026 awards.

Submission Requirements

All authors to kindly read the instructions carefully before submitting abstract:


  • It is mandatory to Register for IASO NATCON 2026 before submitting an abstract.

  • All abstracts must be submitted through the official IASO NATCON 2026 website.

  • To log onto the submission site, you will have to use your registration email and password.

  • The abstracts must contain original content which has not been published or presented at any other national or international conferences prior to IASO NATCON 2026.

  • The abstract should include a Title, list of authors and their affiliations (in the IJSO format)

  • The structured abstract should not be more than 300 words and should contain the following subheadings:

    1. Background and Introduction (include aims and objectives)

    2. Methods (include statistical analysis if applicable)

    3. Results

    4. Conclusion

  • Inappropriately structured or incomplete abstracts will not be accepted.

  • Authors have the option to save the abstracts as a draft in case they feel that the abstract needs to be reworked on. However, the authors need to submit the abstract to be considered. Merely saving the abstract doesn’t make it eligible for consideration. Once the abstract is submitted, no revisions/editing will be allowed.

  • Notification regarding acceptance of the submission along with the guidelines for presentation will be sent to the author through email provided while submitting the abstract.

  • The scientific committee reserves the right to accept / reject / assign a different presentation type to all the abstracts submitted.

  • For IASO Fellowship Awards, one author can submit only One abstract as First/Presenting Author

  • Selected Award-winning abstracts will be published in Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology (IJSO)

Instructions for video presentation:


  • Video abstract presenter should submit a written structured/unstructured abstract (upto 300 words) detailing the technique being demonstrated in the video submission.

  • Video abstract should be on innovative techniques used to treat common or complex problems, interesting cases or demonstrations, or new therapies or applications for a specific disease site.

  • Promotional videos (personal or commercial) will not be considered.

  • Video format should be in mp4.

  • Duration of video should not exceed 6 minutes.

  • Size of the video should not exceed 1 GB.

  • Acceptable frame size: no smaller than full screen (640x 480 or 720x 820 pixels).

General Terms and Conditions for Abstract Submission:

With the submission of an abstract to IASO NATCON 2026, the Presenting author:

  • Accepts responsibility for the accuracy of the submitted abstract or surgical trial proposal.

  • Accepts to be the contact person for all correspondence regarding the abstract and takes responsibility to inform other co-authors of its status.

  • Confirms that all authors are aware of and agree to the content of the abstract or surgical trial proposal and support the data presented.

  • Confirms that the data and conclusions presented in the abstract has not been published in the same format and with the same title prior to the date of IASO NATCON 2026 meeting.

  • States that for all studies involving human or animal subjects, permission has been obtained from the relevant regulatory authority and informed consent given where appropriate.

  • Identifies, obtains and discloses any financial interest in products or processes described in the abstract, for all authors.

  • Releases the copyright on behalf of all authors to IASO and gives permission for the abstract, when selected for presentation, to be published in a supplement issue of IJSO- the Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology, as well as on IASO NATCON 2026 website. The copyright of the abstract remains with the author(s).

  • Commits to register and attend IASO NATCON 2026 if the abstract or surgical trial proposal is selected*. Selected abstracts will only be published in IJSO if the presenting author is registered and attends the Congress in person.

* In case the presenting author is not able or available to present the accepted abstract or surgical trial proposal, a co-author must be appointed to present the abstract and must be registered. Please inform the IASO NATCON 2026 team about this change at scientific@iasonatcon2026.com.
